The appraiser was the absolute worst they sent out. They wouldn’t send someone else out since she took almost 3 weeks to get report back and our realtor agent ended up doing her work.
The loan company should have sent another appraiser out immediately.
Response from Veterans United
Hi Robert,
I’m very sorry to hear how frustrating this part of the process was for you. Waiting weeks for an appraisal report while trying to move forward with a home purchase can be incredibly stressful, especially when you felt like communication and follow-through were lacking along the way.
I understand why you were upset by the delays and by feeling like more should have been done to keep things moving. Purchasing a home already comes with enough pressure, and I’m sorry this experience added to it instead of making things easier.
I appreciate you sharing this feedback because situations like this deserve a closer look. I’d like the opportunity to learn more about what happened and review your concerns further with you directly. Please feel free to contact me at 1-800-212-5200 or ClientAdvocate@vu.com. The Client Advocate team is available Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Central Time, and messages outside those hours are typically answered the next business day.
Sincerely,
Claire S., Client Relations Manager
