Thank you Jake Tara Christina and the team for a smooth home buying process. Would recommend
Everything that was needed to be addressed to make sure the loan went thru right, in my favor, they did. I was always kept in the loop and what ever questions I had were answered. I truly appreciate everyone’s help in the process.
Started out great, but then communication was kind of difficult. Would not get through by phone and emails were unanswered. Overall though, good experience.
My whole VU team was amazing! The process went so smoothly! Thank you all so much for your hard-work!
Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. Throughout the loan process, we were given information that influenced major financial decisions, only to later be told that the information was incorrect and that we should have known it was incorrect because different information had been provided months earlier. That explanation was frustrating and did not address the fact that we relied on what we were told during the process. What has been most disappointing is the lack of accountability. Rather than acknowledging the impact of the misinformation, we were essentially told that nothing could be done and no effort was made to make the situation right.I chose Veterans United because I expected clear communication and guidance through an important life decision. Unfortunately, that was not my experience, and I cannot say I am satisfied with how our concerns were handled after closing.
Response from Veterans United
Hi Jonathon,
Reading your review, it's clear how frustrating this experience was for you. I can understand why you'd be disappointed after relying on information that later changed, especially when it influenced important financial decisions. It also sounds like the way your concerns were handled afterward left you feeling unheard, which only added to your frustration.
Every borrower deserves clear communication and guidance they can rely on throughout the homebuying process. It's disappointing to hear we didn't provide that experience for you.
I'd like the opportunity to learn more about what happened and review your concerns with you. If you're willing, please reach out to me at 1-800-212-5200 or ClientAdvocate@vu.com. The Client Advocate team is available Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Central Time. If you contact us outside those hours, we'll typically respond the next business day.
Sincerely,
Claire S., Client Relations Manager
