Joe is a Columbia, MO native where he grew up playing sports and working at his family's restaurant. In high school, he decided to focus on soccer and continued his athletic career collegiately at Columbia College. While there, he dual-majored in Sports Management and Marketing. After graduating, he served as a Graduate Assistant for the University of Missouri Athletic Department while earning his MBA. Directly after receiving his MBA from Mizzou, he joined VU and has been dedicated to helping Veterans use their VA benefit for the last five years.

Joe’s connection to service is also personal. His younger brother serves in the Navy, which has given him an even deeper appreciation for all service members and their families and the sacrifices they make.

Outside of work, Joe enjoys spending time with his family and hanging out with friends. His hobbies include traveling, spending time outdoors, and cheering on his Mizzou Tigers!
