I grew up in St. Louis, MO and attended college in Columbia, MO. After graduating from Mizzou, I came to work for Veterans United Home Loans. Over my 11+ years here at VU, I have grown to truly enjoy using my experience and knowledge to help active duty and Veteran service members utilize their VA home loan benefit. When I am not at work, I enjoy trail running, hiking with my wife and dogs (we have a Golden Retriever named Izzy and a French Bulldog named Winston Bishop), and spending time with friends and family. I am excited to help you achieve your dream of homeownership, and look forward to making the process a smooth and enjoyable one!

Matt was exceptional during our loan process. Entertained and allowed for discussion on multiple scenarios for the loan and was willing to help in every way.
Working with Matt Landis was truly an unforgettable experience. From the very first conversation, Matt stood out as a professional who genuinely cares, not just about getting the loan done, but about you as a person, a veteran, and a future homeowner.Matt’s communication was second to none. He was always one step ahead, anticipating questions before I even had to ask. Every call, every email, every text was prompt, clear, and full of genuine care. He walked me through each step of the loan process with patience and confidence, making something that could easily feel stressful feel simple and even exciting. What impressed me most was Matt’s integrity and dedication. He didn’t just process my loan, he championed it. He made sure I understood every detail, explored every option, and ultimately secured the best possible terms. You can tell he loves what he does and takes deep pride in helping veterans achieve their dream of homeownership. It’s rare these days to find someone who combines professionalism, expertise, and genuine compassion so seamlessly. Matt made me feel like more than a client—he made me feel like family. If you’re working with Veterans United, ask for Matt Landis. He’s not just a loan officer, he’s a trusted partner, an advocate, and an absolute class act. I couldn’t imagine going through this process with anyone else.
