I had an excellent experience with Veterans United Home Loans. From beginning to end, the team was professional, responsive, patient, and genuinely committed to helping me successfully navigate the home-buying process.
Let me highlight that I was 'just looking' and filled out the online application not thing that within minutes the amazing Zachery Nelson would be calling. He was so friendly, professional, and welcoming, that instead of saying “I’m just looking” I stayed on the phone with him and explained my situation. I was immediately pre-approved and next thing I know, I had a realtor, a dashboard page on your website, and an entire team of Veterans United professionals to help me navigate the home buying process, up to and including utilities connection and contact information, home alarm system, law service, home decor, city and county information - even garbage pick-up. Who does that????? these human touch services are truly unheard of. Truth be told, between June 22nd and August 10th the team at Veterans United basically carried me to help me through this process to the finish line. It was absolutely amazing.
There were several moving parts and a few challenges along the way, but I always felt that the team was working with me rather than simply processing a loan. Questions were answered promptly, concerns were taken seriously, and when an issue arose, they worked to find a solution and keep the process moving toward closing, with a smile on their face, although I was not looking at them, I could feel it in their warm and encouraging emails.
As a veteran, I especially appreciated being treated with respect and understanding throughout the process. Purchasing a home is a major financial and personal decision and having knowledgeable people guiding you through it makes an enormous difference.
