Veterans United Employee Evan Campbell

Evan Campbell

Evan was born and raised in Hannibal, Missouri, where a spirit of adventure, much like the fictional Tom Sawyer, shaped his early years. Growing up in the heart of Mark Twain’s hometown, he explored the outdoors with boundless curiosity and daring. This adventurous streak carried into adulthood, leading him to enlist in the U.S. Army as a 63B Light Wheel Mechanic in the Airborne, where he served with distinction through three deployments, honing his resilience and technical skills under pressure.

His life has been intertwined with his spouse since birth, as their parents shared a hospital recovery room in Hannibal when they were born. This serendipitous connection blossomed into a lifelong partnership, and together they’ve raised two children: Dante, a 14-year-old son, and Athena, a 12-year-old daughter. Their home is filled with energy and companionship, thanks to their 22-pound Chihuahua, Bailey, and two cats—a graceful Turkish Angora named Angel and a spirited tortie named Joy.

In his free time, Evan is an avid enthusiast of Sim Racing, immersing himself in the thrill of virtual tracks, and a dedicated player of Diablo games, drawn to their rich, strategic worlds. As a hobby mechanic, he tinkers with engines, blending hands-on skill with his military training. A deep interest in archeological studies fuels his intellectual curiosity, as he pores over texts about ancient civilizations and discoveries.

Evan’s academic journey reflects his diverse passions and relentless drive for knowledge. He studied Biochemistry at William Jewell College, Bio-Security at Colorado Tech, and Business Management at Quincy University, before earning an MBA from Vanderbilt University. This blend of scientific, security, and business expertise underscores his multifaceted approach to life, balancing adventure, family, and intellectual pursuits with unwavering dedication.

It was a wild beginning. Evan helped us tremendously though. Any time there was a question or issue he got right on it! My wife and I are extremely thankful and will be giving out Evan Campbell's info out to all of our Veteran friends and he will be our first call when rates drop again!!!

Poor communication, misleading promises, zero sense of urgency by VU to get things done. Had to re-upload documents multiple times, had to ask about appraisal getting done multiple times, paid for it well in advance and didn't get done on time and pushed our closing out another week. Bought points and still paid a loan origination fee because "oh we'll lose money on this if they allow that" except they'll make that amount off of me in interest in the first two months.

This process was very effortless and professional. The team executed exactly what they said they would and we saw no issues with any of the process.
