Prior to joining Veterans United, Horace worked as a manager in the customer service industry for over 5 years. Born and raised in Raymore, Missouri, a small suburb just south of Kansas City, he met his wife Stacey. Horace and Stacey have been married for 2 years, and are proud dog parents to a beautiful chocolate lab named Stella. Horace enjoys traveling with his wife, as well as playing and watching sports. His passion for helping others and delivering results is a great match with Veterans United’s values.

I went through multiple other lenders before using Veterans United, and their service was far superior. I also got the lowest rate with them. My loan specialist, Horace Johnson, was great. The online portal allowed me to link my bank account, which saved me a ton of time because many other companies had me scanning my statements page by page as my bank didn't offer downloadable statements. You simply check the app for any, "To Do" items, take care of those items and the next thing you know, you get the, "Clear to close."
