Kellen Nowack

Kellen is originally from St. Louis, MO and attended the University of Missouri in 2010, where he would eventually meet his wife Jessica. Kellen is very grateful to be working for Veterans United, as all three of grandfathers served; a Colonel and a Captain in the Air Force, and a Sergeant in the Army respectively. Kellen is proud to be able to help those who have served our country with one of the most important purchases of their lives. When he is not working, Kellen can be found on the golf course, enjoying one of St. Louis' wonderful breweries, or playing with his dogs, Kaiya and Finley.

I would recommend Veterans United for any veteran that in the process of trying to invest in their future dwelling and foundation . Veteran United went above beyond for me and my family to get the home we are enjoying as I am writing this review . I would recommend Kellen Nowak as the most professional Loan Officer I had the pleasure working with for my new home.

Our loan coordinator and loan officer, Mason and Kellen, provided outstanding service and exceptional timeliness throughout our first home-buying experience. As a Soldier returning from a year-long deployment and spending extended periods on Title 10 orders, my situation wasn’t the simplest — but they made the entire process smooth and stress-free. They worked around the clock to ensure we were fully approved and supported every step of the way. My family and I are extremely grateful for their dedication, professionalism, and commitment. Highly recommend their team!

At closing I was provide at least 3 different loan close out forms - all have different amounts to have a cashier check ready for the title company. When I did arrive for final closing none of these amounts were correct, requiring the title company to issue me a check for the balance due back to me. They then had to settle with Veterans United/and mortgage company. It would seen to me that they should be able to be more accurate with this. To me it shows a lack of attention to detail.

Response from Veterans United

Hi Todd,
I’m sorry for the confusion you experienced at closing. I know how frustrating it must have been to prepare for one amount only to learn that the final figure had changed. Accuracy and clear communication are incredibly important, especially at that stage of the process, and I can understand why this felt disappointing.

I’d really like my people to take a closer look at what happened so we can see where things may have gone wrong and how to prevent similar issues in the future.
