In his free time, Matthew enjoys spending time with family and friends, staying active outdoors, and trying new restaurants. He joined Veterans United in 2021 and loves that his career allows him to help Veterans and their families get into the home they deserve.

The lending officer left me with property taxes and wouldn't call me during working hours, nor call me back or respond to messages I left on his phone.

Not being able to reach your loan officer, especially during normal business hours, would be incredibly frustrating. You deserved timely communication and clear guidance, and I’m sorry that wasn’t your experience.
Property taxes and how they’re handled at closing or afterward should always be clearly explained so there are no surprises. If you were left feeling confused or unsupported, that’s something I want to understand better. Communication is such an important part of this process, and when that breaks down, it can make everything else feel even heavier.
