The Veterans United team was absolutely amazing! They took great care of me, answered all my questions, and guided me through every step of my first home-buying experience. They made the process smooth, stress-free, and easy!
A heartfelt THANK YOU to Alan Thomas, Cierra Halbirt, and the entire team for working so diligently to make this experience a success. I truly couldn’t have done it without you!
I’m so grateful for my team and would definitely recommend Veterans United to anyone looking to buy a home!
Amazing team to work with!!
Alan and his team were great; communicative, quick to respond, fantastic to work with. I would work with him and his team again in a heartbeat.Underwriting and the backend turned what should have been a 4-6 week simple refinance in to a 3 month drawn out affair. Paperwork was wrong on multiple occasions and it took 3 signing attempts to get it done, because names were wrong on official paperwork.I was happy with our overall price and where we ended up, but the fees were considerably higher than competing companies.
Response from Veterans United
Hey Steven,
Thank you for sharing both the good and the frustrating parts of your experience. I’m glad Alan and his team provided the communication and responsiveness you deserved, and that you were ultimately happy with where your refinance landed.
At the same time, I’m sorry the process took much longer than expected and required multiple signing attempts due to issues with the paperwork. I can understand how frustrating that would be, especially after an otherwise positive experience with your loan team. I also appreciate your candid feedback about the fees.
If you’d like to discuss any of these concerns further, please reach out to the Client Advocate team at 1-800-212-5200 or ClientAdvocate@vu.com. The team is available Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Central Time, and messages received outside those hours are typically answered the next business day.
Sincerely,
Claire S., Client Relations Manager
Alan was amazing to work with and was very communicative through the whole home buying process. Kaylyn was fantastic as well! They were a good team to have.
Alan did a great job leading the entire process. I appreciate the communication, insight, and casual yet professional manner that he handled everything. Taking on home buying is stressful so having someone that can make conversations feel down to earth is truly valuable. Kate was great with making sure everything was getting submitted and informed me quickly when things were needed so we could stay on our timeline.
The Team was amazing! Alan Thomas was so helpful through this whole process and was ready to answer any questions I had. Big shout out to all of them
