Alex, and wonderful man to work with.. when things got somewhat stressful.. he gave me sound advice. Thank you Alex for your advice on the loan process.
I would have preferred having the entire list of TO DOs earlier in the process. For example, we have a home located outside of the city limits therefore needed a well water test. We learned this after our appraisal had occurred. Our appraiser was given the wrong telephone number, so as one can imagine, took a longer time to schedule. Our appraisal did not identify the need to paint a shed when sent to Becky, so we did not know it was needed until she reinspected the home for anterior siding and painting check. It wasn't until I contacted her that I learned that she "must have forgotten to mention it in her report" We had an unexpected rainy season which again delayed the ability to complete the work. Some of our paperwork was entered in the wrong place and had to be found. Am glad it is done but was extremely frustrating.
Alex made sure that we knew everything what was going on about our loan. Very professional.
Nice guy. But gaslighted me regarding the payments… told me total cash to close was $69000. We had put an Ernest deposit of $7000 and I asked him multiple times if that was included and he said yes. Of course the day of closing I was asked to pay the $69000 and that my Ernest didn’t count. So there’s $8000 dollars I had to fork out. Also said we could close on May 1 so that we didn’t have to make the payment till July 1st. But didn’t mention that really it screws me more by paying $3000 dollars up front in just interest. I get thats the “rules” but I had no idea about that till looking at closing docs… like arnt you guys already getting enough money off me for the next 30 years…This experience was supposed to be exciting and easy for veterans and as I sit back now I feel that I got totally bent over on this deal. Will not use veterans United again
For my first home I didn't know what to expect but they made the experience superb I didn't have to worry about nothing
Thanks again Team we did it dream come true!
Thank you everyone for all your help!
