Everyone there was very friendly and personable. Pleasure to work with.
As a first-time homebuyer, I was honestly terrified going into this process. Buying a home felt overwhelming, and I had no idea how many questions, decisions, and emotions would come with it. Looking back now, I can say without hesitation that Veterans United made what could have been a stressful experience one of the most positive and rewarding experiences my family and I have ever had. From day one, Ashley was absolutely exceptional. She never once made me feel embarrassed for asking questions—even the ones I thought I should already know the answers to. She took the time to walk me through every option, every scenario, and every decision, carefully explaining not only the immediate impact but also the long-term effects on my family and our future. What stood out most was that she never pushed me toward a particular choice. Her focus was always on helping me understand my options so I could make the decision that was right for my situation. Her patience, professionalism, and genuine care gave me confidence during a process that initially felt intimidating. As we moved into underwriting, Derick stepped in and became the steady hand that helped guide us across the finish line. He kept us informed, provided frequent updates, and made sure we always knew where we stood. Even beyond Ashley and Derick, the entire Veterans United team was incredibly responsive. Whenever a question came up, someone was always available to provide a clear and timely answer. What makes Veterans United different is that they don't treat you like a loan number or another transaction. They treat you like a person. By the end of the process, I wasn't referring to them as "my lender" or "my loan team"—I was talking about Ashley and Derick by first name around the dinner table because they had become such a trusted part of this journey.Veterans United made homeownership possible for my family, and for that I will always be grateful. While every person's circumstances are different and no lender can guarantee the same outcome for everyone, I can confidently say that this team genuinely cares and will do everything they can to help you succeed. If you're looking for a lender that combines professionalism, expertise, communication, and genuine human care, I wholeheartedly recommend Veterans United. Thank you for helping make a dream come true for my family.
I absolutely recommend Ashley Jarrett and her company, and I am confident they will honor their commitments and are highly trustworthy for anyone that wants to work with them.
