My manager did comment on the fact he had to fill out 5 employment verifications. However that aside it was a smooth process.

Benjamin is awesome knows everything you’ll ever need to know or ask. Couldn’t have asked for a better loan officer to help through this process. He got us all set up and never was hesitate to reach out to us for anything. I applaud him for going above and beyond for us. Like talking with your best friend thanks Ben

The overall process was more tedious than other VA lenders and the appraiser’s they use do not do their jobs. A $700 appraisal still had the VA buyer have to go out and take pictures of smoke alarms.

Response from Veterans United

Hey Marlon,
I’m sorry to hear the process felt more tedious than expected and that the appraisal added extra frustration. VA appraisers are independent and sometimes need additional proof, like photos of smoke alarms, to meet the VA’s requirements. I know that doesn’t make the situation any less frustrating, and I appreciate you sharing this feedback so we can keep improving.
