Daniel Lowes
Originally from Sikeston, MO, Daniel came to Columbia after completing basic training as a member of the Missouri National Guard. He graduated from Columbia College in 2005 with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration. He also served a 15 month deployment in Iraq in the middle of his college experience. A second tour of duty sent him to Kosovo in 2008 and after returning he joined the team at Veterans United Home Loans.

the people at VU were great but as soon as I got my approval letter, I was bombarded with calls from companies that wanted me to refinance my (then) current mortgage. Then I realized that VU share's my data with 3rd party companies and that pissed me off.
Improvements can be made. A large lender with shortcomings especially before closing. I think government shutdown issues could've been an obstacle. Please, communicate better or send a rep around when closing.
