Great help, great communication
The Veterans United Team was great to work with, providing us with guidance and information throughout the home buying process
I cant even leave a -10 because every single thing about my transaction was a literal nightmare, closing was postponed 4x, told one thing and then another back to back, had to wait on so many people to be out of office, team had a terrible attitude when the issues were THEIR fault, and then left out important information about closing costs that caused the sellers to get into a heated argument with us AT CLOSING over how terrible the experience has been. they turned something that should have been the best moment of my life into THE WORST experience ever.
Response from Veterans United
Hey Angelise,
Thank you for sharing your feedback. I'm sorry to hear that your homebuying experience was so frustrating and stressful. Purchasing a home should be an exciting milestone, and it's disappointing to hear that repeated delays, inconsistent communication, and unexpected issues left you feeling let down.
I understand how difficult it can be when expectations change throughout the process, especially when those challenges carry through to closing. We want every borrower to feel informed, supported, and confident along the way, and I'm sorry that wasn't your experience.
I'd appreciate the opportunity to learn more about what happened. Please reach out to me at 1-800-212-5200 or ClientAdvocate@vu.com. The Client Advocate team is available Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. CST.
Sincerely,
Claire S., Client Relations Manager
There's just SO much that I can put here... from Jon Abernathy, Beau Roberts, and Kimberly Moravec, up to and including Matthew Fitzgerald... I just don't have the vocabulary to THANK EVERYONE enough. The way Laura & I were treated... ALWAYS in a kind, and timely manner. That meant a LOT to me. With THAT as the forethought of the whole process (and throughout!) it made the process SO relaxing. YES... there was bumps in the road, but everyone listed above helped us get painstakingly through them!
The verbal walk-throughs on applications, signatures needed, to understanding the stresses of the what/where/when/why of being naive about things.
THANK YOU TO ALL OF YOU whom assisted me and Laura in this transaction. We're SO blessed and appreciative. I WOULD like to send cards/gifts (you like flowers Jon?) of appreciations... but I don't have addresses to do so.
They walked me through every step. We had hiccups that had nothing to do with Veterans United, but they kept me going & reassured me that things were moving forward and gave me steps to keep is on track on our end.
