After uploading my disability papers, I was told I would get tax exemptions. Not only is that not the case, now I can’t even afford mortgage. This has ruined my life
Response from Veterans United
Hi Adam,
I’m really sorry this situation has been so overwhelming. I can understand how upsetting it is when expectations around costs and taxes don’t line up the way you anticipated.
Tax exemptions can make a meaningful difference, but they do require approval through the local taxing authority and aren’t always applied right away. We aim to clearly explain that process and timing, including the steps needed to have the exemption put in place, and I’m sorry if that wasn’t as clear as it should have been.
I’m glad to hear you’re already connected with our Client Advocate team, and I hope they’re able to provide clarity and support as you work through this.
Sincerely,
Claire S., Client Relations Manager
Thank you all for working with me to make this home purchase possible. Everything went great, and the help, and guide though were excellent.
It took a year for us to find the right place at the right time but every one was very patient and understanding.
You guys are so professional and I was pleased and excited with outcome.
