Its been a year-long journey of many financial, credit, fraud realtors and medical issues that have caused us so many struggles to find a home. We were extremely blessed with Adam Craig and his team that guided us and never gave up on us. Thank you to bless us and giving our 5-year-old autistic son a yard to play in!

Mr. Scott and his team were amazing. We’re first time home buyers and we felt they really tried to work all our needs.

They did everything they said they could do and were very clear on what was being done. They beat all of the other offers not just matched them. The effort given was outstanding. Very pleased.

It was a horrible experience. I felt like everything was left to the last minute. Our loan was delayed by 12 days, I feel this was all on VU. I called the VA the day prior to our closing and they never even received the package to review. It was a very stressful experience. Our family was moving across country, and I felt like VU could care less. Overall, the worst experience I have ever had. I should also add, they added a customer care person to our loan because of the issues, but all she wanted to do was act as another loan coordinator. I asked her to figure out what happened to our loan and conduct training so it doesn’t happen again. Never heard from her again. I would not recommend VU to a friend. I hope to IRRRL out of VU as fast as possible.

Response from Veterans United

Hey Brandon,

I'm really sorry to hear how stressful this experience was, especially while coordinating a cross-country move for your family. A 12-day delay at such an important stage of the process can create a lot of uncertainty, and I can understand why you'd feel frustrated and let down.

It's also disappointing to hear that you were left feeling like your concerns weren't fully addressed when you asked for more information about what happened. When something doesn't go as planned, you deserve clear communication and to feel heard throughout the process.

I'd appreciate the opportunity to learn more about your experience and review the concerns you've shared. If you're open to it, please reach out to me at 1-800-212-5200 or ClientAdvocate@vu.com. The Client Advocate team is available Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Central Time, and messages received outside those hours are typically responded to the next business day.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback.

Sincerely,
Claire S., Client Relations Manager
