Now that I've moved in and things have calmed down I would not recommend this company. I know I'm an outlier. Always requesting information at the end of the business day. Our loan agent would always call us on his way home from work with no good news. Daily packets from FedEx to sign and return. One day 9 packets to sign with 1 paper in each. Who's running this circus. Real estate agent frustrated with yall. Title company frustrated with yall. Got 5 fedex packets to sign 1 week after closing(I threw them in the trash). Last week I got an email requesting a copy of the mortgage and deed from one of yalls employees. He thought he was emailing the title company. Again who's running this circus. And yall got the gonads to send me a t-shirt. My blood pressure got so bad the va called an emergency. Navy federal next time and will tell all my army buds. Sorry but nope nope nope. Never again

Response from Veterans United

Hi Daniel,

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. I'm truly sorry to hear the homebuying process left you feeling so frustrated. Buying a home should be an exciting milestone, and it sounds like the repeated document requests, last-minute communication, and lack of coordination made the process much more stressful than it should have been.

I understand why you walked away feeling disappointed, especially if it seemed like the different parties involved weren't on the same page. We value feedback like yours because it helps us identify opportunities to improve both our communication and the overall borrower experience.

I'd appreciate the opportunity to learn more about what happened and review your concerns. If you're willing, please reach out to me at 1-800-212-5200 or ClientAdvocate@vu.com. The Client Advocate team is available Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Central Time. If you contact us outside those hours, we'll typically respond the next business day.

Sincerely,
Claire S., Client Relations Manager

There were bumps in the whole process, but there are bumps no matter what. Maybe a little better communication, but even saying that is not really a red flag simply because everyone's situation is gonna be different because we all have different lives. Doing anything less than great would have been me not getting this house and I did so I will forever be grateful for my team of Bill,, Anna, and Sierra. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
