Charlie Holsten
Charlie and his wife, Shawnee, have two little girls that keep them busy most of the time. Charlie grew up outside of Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, and is the oldest of four boys. After playing collegiate soccer, he moved to Chicago, IL where he received his M.A. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology. Charlie and Shawnee consider themselves to be avid wanderers and love to explore new places and new things. Music and anything outdoors are something of a passion in their family. They can often be found on a river, on a lake, in the woods, in the mountains, at a show or at their favorite local brewery.

Working with Veterans United was a pleasure and made the process of purchasing a home very simple. Veterans United followed up on my inquiries and credit checks to make sure they could work with me on my home loan. They were persistent through the process and worked with me to ensure I was able to purchase a home.
Overall great experience and easy to work with. The portal with pending tasks was useful and progress transparency. Fell short at follow-up to offered services regarding assistance with gathering quotes on HOI for the buyer. This was not the specific team's fault but I believe a lack of task progress tracking in operations. The only reason I gave a 9 of 10, as I pumped brakes on legwork to gather quotes when assistance was offered - only to assume the task and regain momentum when I realized help wasn't coming two weeks later. Thank you for my team's exceptional attention and assistance to make our dreams a reality.
