Clay deserves every bit of this 10/10. He explained everything to me in a way that actually made sense, walked me through each step without ever making me feel rushed, and always made himself available when I needed clarity. He pivoted quickly when my plans changed, kept the process moving fast, and helped me close incredibly quickly. What could’ve been overwhelming turned into a smooth, guided experience because of him. I’m genuinely grateful for his support and expertise.
He marked me incompetent on my initial loan for being in the military then I had to write of letter of explanation that I wasn’t. They said my insurance was good to go and then on the day we were originally supposed to sign at 4pm it wasn’t after his team gave me the good to go. I sent him an email saying that I was frustrated at the lack of communication and he didn’t even acknowledge it. I could tell in his mannerisms he was frustrated with me but it was my first time buying a home I had no idea what I was doing, better communication and patience would have been better. I would never recommend veterans United to anyone in fact I would tell them to steer clear.
Just fine
