Kirk was born and raised in Grand Junction, Colorado. He grew up learning the value of hard work from his Grandpa and Father who owned a drilling company based in Wyoming. He worked on their drilling rigs through college. Kirk attended Metropolitan State University of Denver for his undergraduate degree and earned his Master's from Texas A&M University. Prior to joining Veterans United Home Loans, Kirk had established a career in college football where he coordinated player recruitment and oversaw football operations. Being from Colorado, Kirk’s favorite sports team is the Denver Broncos. In his free time he enjoys most sports, spending time with his wife and dog, learning more about topics in history and science, and watching John Wayne movies. Kirk currently lives in Columbia, Missouri with his wife, Brittany, and their dog, Brother, who is a cane corso.
