Kristin has a lifetime of experience working with veterans, starting with her parents and most of her family members. She was born at Bitburg Air Force Base in Germany and after her father’s retirement, settled stateside in the Midwest at age 14. Her calling to help others led her to attend the University of Missouri in Columbia. Kristin’s post graduate career started specializing in Law Enforcement and Social Work. It was this passion, coupled with her love for veterans, which brought her to Veterans United Home Loans.

She began her career as a credit consultant in our Lighthouse department where she would help navigate borrower’s hopes and dreams of purchasing a house to the shores of reality. In five short years, Kristin helped over 1000 veterans to obtain the dream of homeownership! She has now transitioned into the role of VA home loan expert where she can take a more hands on approach with her borrowers to guide them in the home buying journey. Kristin and her husband, Peter, have been married for over 15 years and have three beautiful children. When she’s not working, she enjoys spending time with her family, supporting her children in all their extra-curricular activities, and traveling as much as possible.
