Matt grew up in Columbia Missouri and attended college at Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau. Matt has worked at VU for over 5 years now, with a long work history in closing and customer service. He assisted in closing over 1,000 home loans before becoming a licensed Loan Officer. Matt is very passionate about serving our nation’s Veterans and active Military Members. Matt enjoys spending time with his family, going to the lake, and water skiing any chance he can get.

From the first call until the day of closing, the entire team was available at any reasonable hour to help me run numbers, and explain the entire process to me. Being a first time home-buyer, the experience was very intimidating to start off, but Matt spent probably 10 hours over the first few days walking me through most things Barney style and it made the whole thing simple. He was also always very quick to respond to any questions I had. Would definitely him and his team to anyone looking for a home loan.
