Tim Alvis would be great for someone who is NOT buying their first house. He would be a great candidate for someone who is an experienced buyer. It was not a good experience for me and my husband and we were disappointed in his complacency that ultimately changed our closing date and our view of veterans United home loans.

Response from Veterans United

Hi Rebecca,
I’m sorry to hear that your experience as first-time homebuyers left you and your husband feeling disappointed. Purchasing a home for the first time can already feel overwhelming, and it’s important to have clear communication, guidance, and support throughout the process.

I understand why changes to your closing timeline and the overall experience would affect your confidence and perception of Veterans United. Every borrower’s situation is different, and first-time buyers especially should feel informed and supported every step of the way. I appreciate you taking the time to share this feedback.

I’d like the opportunity to learn more about your experience and discuss your concerns further. Please feel free to contact me at 1-800-212-5200 or ClientAdvocate@vu.com. The Client Advocate team is available Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Central Time, and messages outside those hours are typically responded to the next business day.

Sincerely,
Claire S., Client Relations Manager
