I’m originally from St. Louis, Missouri, and a lifelong fan of St. Louis and Mizzou sports. I served on active duty in the Marine Corps from 2003 to 2008, deploying in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom from late 2006 to early 2008. After returning home, I transitioned out of the Marine Corps to pursue my education at the University of Missouri.
During my time at Mizzou, I remained deeply involved in organizations advocating for veterans' rights. As I neared graduation with a Bachelor of Science degree, I discovered Veterans United—a company that allowed me to provide for my family while continuing to serve the veteran community.
It was during my time at Mizzou that I met my wife, Jessica, an Air Force veteran. Together, we have three incredible children—our daughter, Makayla, born in August 2012, and our identical twin boys, Alex and Mattis, born in April 2014.
When I’m not helping veterans achieve their dream of homeownership, I dedicate all my free time to my family.

Nick made me feel so safe going through this process. I have trust issues and I can be pretty pessimistic about things, but Nick was wonderful in explaining everything to me, giving me updates on the process at every stage. He really listened to my concerns and focused on allaying them. He was also very proactive preemptive, bringing up questions that I had but hadn’t been able to formulate and verbalize yet. He was kind and approachable without being the overly enthusiastic, over bearing “salesman” type. I could let my guard down.
Nick Holman and his team has been very helpful and great
Nick was very professional, helpful and dialed throughout the entire process. I’d rate him higher than 10 if I could
Nick and his team made the whole process thoughtless and effortless. Couldn't recommend more.
Nick Holman and his team did an amazing job. Was available day and night. Answered all questions with professionalism and tenacity. Was able to make buying my first home very simple and easy and allowed me to get the best bang for my buck. Would recommend the team to anyone whether it be a first time home buyer or a multiple property owner. Very appreciative for all their hard work.
Nick made everything so easy and informed us the whole way through.
Listen. If you are serious about owning a home, Veterans United is definitely a preferred option, in my opinion. The steps it took to purchasing our home was frustrating to say the least. In my wife and I case, we were purchasing from our landlord, so a realtor wasn't necessary. However, gathering the necessary documents, coordinating with the different agencies like appraisals, home inspections, insurance, title company, and loads of paperwork, signatures, and questions are still very much a part of the process. Our team, Nick Holman, Courtney Gully, Francie Greene, and the rest of their supporting members were there from the first phone until the closing on our home. They fielded every question, listened to all of our frustration, guided us through the whole process step by step, and we're encouraging, patient, professional, and, most of all, very polite, friendly, and engaging whenever we were in contact with them. I mean they kept in touch by phone, text, and email. Even sent us mail. Who does that in this technology age? Seriously, they were the best team my wife and I could ask for in communicating with us and our landlord to make this dream a reality!! I highly recommend Veterans United to anyone who’s reading this review, or anyone who asks is this company for real. To our team, Nick Holman, Courney Gully, Francie Greene, and their supporting team members, thank you for everything! We can't say thank you enough. My wife, Valencia Long, and I now own our home!!!
I highly recommend Nick Holman and also Mark Migneco. They are absolutely amazing in the work they do with you to get you a loan. If you happen to have a need for technical support Cara will walk you through step by step until you have the problem resolved. She had such an amazing sensitivity and patience as she walked me through to address my problem. when completing a doc-u sign form. I am so fortunate to have them assisting me when I applied to refinance my condo. I worried I drove them crazy contacting them so much, but their kindness and patience with all of the questions I asked was so valuable. Please use them if you are looking to get financing done because they are truly the best with understanding and patience. You will have no regrets!Thank you again Nick,Mark and CaraI apologize I almost forgot to list Brock Johnson who was the gentleman who answered the phone when I initially called. He directed me to exactly the person I needed.
