Rob Weigand has been working with home buyers since 1996 when, as a licensed realtor, he put his first family in a home of their own. The mortgage industry was a natural transition for Rob and he has become well versed in VA home loans as well as other mortgage products. Outside the office, you will find Rob cruising around the back roads on his motorcycle or catching one of his favorite sports teams in action. Rob also enjoys staying active in his church and spending time with his wife of 18 years and 2 little girls.

I was told that I would get $1,400 back from refinancing only got back $400 so I was misled and unhappy with my agent

I’m really sorry to hear this experience left you feeling frustrated and unhappy. I can understand how disappointing it would be if the amount you expected back from your refinance didn’t match what you ultimately received.

Oftentimes with a refinance, borrowers may receive a separate escrow refund from their previous mortgage servicer in addition to the funds associated with the new loan. Even so, I understand how important it is for expectations and details to be communicated clearly throughout the process, and I’m sorry this experience left you feeling misled.
