Stephen Erickson
Stephen was born in California, but spent most of his childhood in upstate New York. He moved to Columbia, MO after high school where he graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Stephen comes from a family with a strong military presence. His maternal grandfather served in WWII, his paternal grandparents served in the Korean War, his mother served in the Public Health Services and he has two brothers that are Marines, one whom is currently active. Stephen grew up working for the family construction company; strong work ethic is a very important value of his. When not at work proudly serving our veterans and active duty service members, Stephen prefers to spend his time outdoors either doing a water activity, bicycling or taking his two dogs out to go explore.

Stephen and his team provided an outstanding home buying experience. This whole process can be overwhelming at times, but they were gracious and helpful every step of the way. There were some things that we wanted to know when interested in a house and we didn't get that info. Our daughter and son in law went VA loan and they h ad all their info before purchase. I would never use Veterans United again because of that. The people were great and helped us understand the process as being new home buyers.

Everything was awesome with one minor exception. I wasn’t told that I needed my well tested until the very last minute and it delayed the closing for almost 2 weeks simply because that’s how long it took to get all the tests back.
United not only got us the home we wanted but they made sure we didn't overpay and the home was in a good enough condition to be able to be lived in. They were on top of everything to make sure everything went as smoothly as possible.
The process was smooth and basically effortless, thanks to Stephen and Trent. 10/10
