I’ve been a Loan Officer with Veterans United since 2015 and have spent my time here helping Veterans and service members feel comfortable and informed throughout the homebuying process. My connection to this work is personal. My grandfather served in the Air Force and met my grandmother while he was stationed in Vermont preparing for the Korean War. That story has always stuck with me, and it’s a big reason I care so much about serving the military community.
I’ve been married to my wife Ali since 2016, and we have two boys, Alex and Jack. Our shih tzu Henry is terrified of them. Life with two kids keeps me moving, but when I get the chance, I like to travel with my wife, go for a run, or golf (poorly).
I try to keep my approach simple. Be upfront, communicate clearly, and make the process as smooth as possible. The goal is to treat everyone I work with the way I’d want someone to treat my own family.

If I could give a 12, I would, answered every call, answered very question, and dumbed it all down so well that I didn’t have to ask twice. I pray if I went to refinance or get a new home, Dan will be right there for round two
Dan…Dan is the epitome of a good dude. This is our second home buying journey with Dan, and we never want to work with anyone else. Dan is always available for a call or text, always there when we have questions and just so knowledgeable. The way he handles behind the scenes actions is so smooth and just always on top of the entire process. He is our go to for answers and also the one name we have queued up when someone asks about either of our houses. Thank you Dan, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you!
Dan is amazing. He was always available to answer questions or address concerns at any time. He ensured every step of the process was timed and convenient to my work schedule for reviewing and signing document. I could not ask for a better loan officer.

Dan Salter and his team carried me through the entire house buying process always explaining each step, staying in contact through text, email, and/or phone calls. I was never ignored, and never had to wait for answers. I could imagine how much anxiety and pain buying a home would have been if there wasn't a team of highly professional and knowledgeable people walking me through the entire procedure.
