I am blessed to have a wonderful family, that includes my wife Ellen and my three children. Outside of working at Veterans United, I enjoy coaching my sons various Little League teams and watching my daughter's dance recitals. When not going to a birthday party or one of my children's sporting event, I enjoy watching St. Louis Cardinal baseball and eating good barbeque.

I honestly should not have gone this route. This entire process seems like it was rushed to the Benefit of everyone else but my family and me. The prior owners did not do a good job cleaning up as they said they would. I have pictures of filthy appliances and 2 carpets that wasn’t even touched. I’m
I’m unable to use the 4th bedroom until the carpet is replaced. The hot water in the master bedroom doesn’t even work properly. We closed on the 30th yet the people didn’t even move out until the 3rd. Which caused my landlord to keep my 2 thousand dollar deposit. The oven was FULL of leftover chemicals and residue that is still cooking all my kids food with a bad taste. I have to put thousands of dollars into getting this place ready for my newborn. My honest opinion is y’all aren’t here for the vets. Ya’ll found a way to profit off of our expense. During my service after every training exercise we did an AAR. After action review where we came up with 3 ups and 3 downs of what went right and what went wrong. I can not give many ups in this situation and it’s going to come down to people like me to actually show the truth so that Ya’ll can improve. I highly doubt this will catch anyone’s attention that is actually willing to do anything and that’s ok because at the end of the day it was My fault. Why? Because 7 - 8 months ago when I first reached out to VU I had a gut feeling telling me to avoid yall. So I did. I told my loan officer they seem like a scam. It wasn’t until I was so desperate to move because of my circumstances that I reached back out to ya’ll. Only good thing I can hope for is you do better for other vets. I’m sure this isn’t the first review of its kind and I guarantee it will not be the last. Looks like I’ll be going down in history as the fastest Foreclosure on a home loan in VU history. Which ultimately must be the end game for the people at the top. Sadly I hate this house and I truly regret doing business. I should have taken my time. Again falls completely on me.
It was an absolute honor working with Veterans United. Danny Kliethermes was our Loan Officer. John Kirby was our Loan Coordinator. They effortlessly guide you through the nerve wracking process of home buying. They listen to your concerns. They are in continuous contact with you during the entire process. They return your calls promptly. They return texts in a timely manner. They explain minute details so that you have the same understanding as they do. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to buy a new home especially for first time buyers. Excellence!
As a first time home buyer. I didn’t really know anything about the process, but everyone that helped me at Veterans United (Danny, Natalie, and Briana) made everything so seamless. They’re super organized and they communicate evrything at a timely manner.
My husband (Tim) and I started working with Veterans United over a year ago when we started prep partying for an out-of-state move. Our plans were delayed for many months and we didn't follow up on things. Then, earlier this year, I was reminded of them after seeing videos of them paying off mortgages for a dozen or so veterans this past Veterans Day. I cried through each one as I witnessed the company's mission and culture in action. When we finally found the house," the Veterans United team made it incredibly easy to update our information and generate a same-day pre-approval letter. We worked with Danny K. and his team (Brian) who have been awesome. They communicated regularly and clearly to make sure that we knew what was required from us each step of the way. We were so appreciative of how quickly the team responded to voice messages and emails when we had questions... and I had LOTS of questions! When we had delays in closing due to the seller, Danny helped us with our interest rate lock extension and explained how that affected our situation. Danny and his Veterans United team were always professional, caring, and attentive to our needs as borrowers. I am happy to refer people, because of the excellent service we've experienced. Danny's team knows how to actually SERVE his clients and how to understand their needs, and that's a rare quality nowadays. A big THANK YOU! Tim & Sandi Aldridge, happy homeowners
Can’t ask for a smoother process.
Very easy to work with. They kept the process streamlined and easy to follow to a quick easy close for our new home. I highly recommend them.
