What can I say other than how impressed I was and am with how your whole team basically took me by the hand in a process as nerve wracking as this and leading me through it all step by step to a very satisfying end. You have my thanks and gratitude. If it were possible I would recommend Arron for a promotion. He truly deserves it.
The entire was great! I couldn't be more satisfied with the end result. So, I want to personally thank Eric, Britt, and Travis for you support and patience.- Gerald
My experience with Verterans United was extremely stressful and disappointing. They were not flexible at all when it came to documents that were more than 20 years old and no longer available. Even when I provided alternative proof, it was dismissed as “not good enough.” Instead of helping track down information they easily could have obtained themselves, they kept sending new to‑do items day after day, each one demanding something different. On top of that, their 11th‑hour demands made the situation even more frustrating and stressful. Every time I thought I had provided what they needed, they added something new at the last minute, creating unnecessary pressure and confusion. It felt like they turned me into their errand runner—constantly chasing paperwork, digging through old records, and trying to satisfy requirements that seemed to change every time. Overall, their lack of flexibility, constant shifting demands, and unwillingness to assist with document retrieval made the entire experience far more difficult than it needed to be
Buying my first home with Veterans United was a great experience from start to finish. Everyone I worked with was friendly, helpful, and always quick to answer my questions. They kept me updated every step of the way and explained everything in a way that was easy to understand, which made the whole process a lot less stressful.I never felt like I was figuring things out on my own. Anytime I needed help, someone was there to point me in the right direction. You can tell they genuinely care about their clients and want to make the experience as smooth as possible.I’m really grateful for everything the team did to help me become a homeowner. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Veterans United to any veteran or service member looking to buy a home. They made what seemed like a complicated process feel simple, and I couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out.
1) read the fine print, because they will make sure they get their money, no matter if you get screwed.2) They inflate the number to make it seem better than what it really is. Trust me, go with Navy federal or USAA, for sure you’ll get a better deal.
Never again!

EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE............
Veterans United was a Godsent lender!!! Team Patton representatives were top-notch. Special thanks to Eric Hermann and Brandon Willis who made my process seamless. All of my questions were answered promptly. Every Veteran needing a home should try Veterans United. Thanks to the entire team...you were awesome!!!
Initially I had a great loan officer, then he transfered me to a loan officer that didn't read her emails, didn't submit paperwork in a timely manner (10 days to submit is not timely), and often didn't answer the phone.
