Lily was born and raised in Columbia, Missouri, and graduated from Mizzou with a degree in Business Management. Since 2019, she has been working for Veterans United Home Loans as a loan specialist. Outside of helping service members get into homes, you can find her spending time with family and friends, cooking, doing yoga, and hanging out with her Pomeranian pooch, Winnie!

The purchase of a home can be one of the most stressful event in one’s lifetime. One of the main reasons is you may or may not be kept in the loop so you have to be patient while you are waiting for the process to go through which can make you feel anxious at times. Amazingly this was not the case with Veterans United specifically Lily Farnan and her theme. She kept us in the loop every Step of the way. She let us know what to expect and at the close of the day she would always send an update which was always positive. This made you feel good especially if you’re not sure about what is happening behind the scenes. In addition Veterans United has a very informative website with videos that tells you about the process and what to work on or expect for the next step. Lily was very helpful, the underwriting process with Suzanne was exceptionally tedious.
I have had a few mortgages and have not been through this lengthy process.
It was a quick 3 week process and frustrating as a well qualified buyer with 1/2 the equity to the property.
