Ryan is originally from St. Louis, MO and attended the University of Missouri in 2010, where he studied Finance. Ryan is very grateful to be working for Veterans United, as both his grandfathers were in the Army; a Private First Class and a Sergeant, respectively. Ryan is proud to be able to help those who have served our country, like his grandfathers, with one of the most important purchases of their lives. When Ryan is not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two kids, August and Cal. Ryan and his family enjoy horseback riding on the family farm, hunting, fishing, boating, snow skiing and cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs and Mizzou Tigers Football team.

Ryan, Kari and the rest of the Veterans United team were Amazing! We’ve never dealt with a lender that was so customer focused serving veterans. The mortgage process was made easier with the ability to provide the documentation electronically and have Ryan, Kari and team always available for questions and guidance. We closed on our team home quickly without any delays. We can’t say enough great things about the Veterans United team. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for the best VA loan experience. Overall the process was one of the best purchase and mortgage financing experiences I've ever had. I highly recommend Veterans United, Ryan, Keri and Mark.

WE BOUGHT A COLLAPSING FIRE HAZARD THAT WE ARE NOW HIRING THE LAW FIRM HANDLING THE CLASS ACTION LAW SUIT AGAINST VETERANS UNITED!!I WOULD RECOMMEND YOU RUN FROM THESE SWINDLING THIEFS BEFORE ITS TO LATE..
Response from Veterans United
I’m really sorry to hear about what you’ve experienced since purchasing your home, Kellie. Finding serious concerns with the electrical, plumbing, structural components, and other areas of a home would be incredibly upsetting, especially when you went into the purchase believing the property had been properly remodeled.
I understand why you’re frustrated and concerned. I do want to clarify that a VA appraisal is intended to assess the home’s value and certain minimum property requirements based on what can be observed. It isn’t a substitute for a comprehensive home inspection, which is why buyers are encouraged to have an independent inspection to take a closer look at the condition of the home.
I’d really appreciate the opportunity to learn more about what happened and better understand the concerns you’ve raised. Please reach out to my Client Advocate team at 1-800-212-5200 or ClientAdvocate@vu.com. The team is available Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Central Time, and messages received outside those hours are typically answered the next business day.
Sincerely,
Claire S., Client Relations Manager
Working with Veterans United made the entire home-buying process remarkably smooth from start to finish. From day one, their team was incredibly fast, efficient, and responsive.

Communication was prompt every step of the way, so I was never left waiting or wondering where things stood in the process. They handled all the details with real professionalism and made what could have been a stressful experience feel completely effortless.
If you are looking for a team that is knowledgeable, quick to communicate, and genuinely dedicated to helping you reach the closing table, I couldn't recommend Veterans United highly enough. Thankful for the whole team who helped buying our new home a possibility!
Mike and his team are extremely responsive. They were there the whole step of the way. They kept us in the loop with everything and made the process extremely smooth. I will definitely recommend Veterans or AD members to use Mike and his team.
Ryan K and his team were PHENOMENAL! Purchasing a high-value home is a complex process, and I couldn’t have asked for a better loan officer to guide me through it. From the very beginning, they demonstrated exceptional knowledge, professionalism, and attention to detail. Every question I had was answered promptly, every step was explained clearly, and I always felt confident that my loan was in exceptional hands. If you’re looking for a loan officer who is honest, knowledgeable, and truly committed to delivering outstanding service, I wholeheartedly recommend them.
Just awesome, the team made this easy and stress free!
