My name is Seth Baskett. I am originally from the Columbia, MO area. However due to college and other professional opportunities, i have been fortunate to explore other parts of the country. I ended up moving back to Columbia and starting an exciting opportunity to help serve veterans with all their home buying needs. What has really stood out to me in this role and the reason I am so passionate about my job, every situation is unique and the best way to serve each borrower is a custom tailored approach. I view every situation as a new puzzle, and it’s my job to find a way to get all the pieces to fit into place. In my free time, I enjoy being outside whether that is hunting, fishing or meeting up with my friends to play 18 on a sunny weekend. I have learned the ball shows up better in the woods on the sunny days. I try to stay very active with hopes this year of running a half marathon. I look forward to working with you and your family to find a solution that works for your unique situation!

Maybe this is more of the realtor's responsibility, but it would have been nice if someone would have advised us that the seller might leave all their Airbnb furniture and artwork in the house. Then we could have requested for it to be removed instead of allowing them to leave stained and burnt furniture, and weird artwork. I think what happened was the seller decided to leave all their Airbnb junk when we requested a $5000 credit back for maintenance fees. Kind of like "well if I'm giving you a $5000 credit back then you can also deal with all this junk" which I just think was highly unprofessional.
Seth and Justin helped every step of the way and were always there to answer any questions we had. They are the best.
I would highly recommend all my fellow veterans or military personnel to use Veterans United. Everyone is very professional, knowledgeable and ready to help support me through the home buying process. My loan officer Seth Baskitt and his team were awesome! I honestly was nervous about the buying a home especially out of state but I had a great time supporting me.
Seth kept all the details straight forward and kept us updated with all information . The application process was very quick and easy as well as the closing.
Although it took a lengthy time to accomplished all task from both sides, in the end it went well. I received a fair and favorable percentage rating to the end compared to other lenders iffy offers. I thank the Veterans United team for their patience.
