Not a good experience just before and during closing. The additional wait time pushed back our plans to get into the home and have appliances delivered. Have everything completed before anyone goes into closing. I received a call at the closing telling me that VHUL could not verify my employment? I would think that this is important and something that should have been completed in a more timely manner. It held us up for 3 days. All incuding the realtor and builder were very stressed. I just think this could have been avoided.
From my experience with Samantha Reeves, my loan officer, nothing needs improving. In my loan process she was as near to perfection as I have ever seen. I expected a two to three month process, but it only too four weeks.
