Everyone involved was kind, friendly, knowledgeable, thorough, respectful, patient, helpful, non-judgmental, etc. We felt that we were treated as if we were part of their family, and at post closing, we were told that we are now part of the Veterans United Family. our Mortgage rep was very polite, and understanding. the underwriters were HORRIBLE!! Never again. i have never felt more like a criminal, then i did dealing with the invasive process of the UNDERWRITERS, in my whole life. Morgan tried I Believe his best, he was very polite, very professional and did the best he could of what was in his control. not giving out a rating of 8-9 because there were items involved with this process that if it was explained more clearly and in depth the experience would of been a little better. The only reason i gave a 7 was because I liked how and what the Loan officer, Morgan< was trying to do for us. if i was just rating based on the Financial part dealing with those underwriters, i would of gave them a 2-3. Our real Estate Agent, Holly Knipp was top notch and would recommend her highly.

Overall I have mixed feeling on the company. I got the loan (refi) which I was happy about. The process, well that's a different story. The process took way too long. I was told that the reason it took so long was the company was slow to submit documents as I uploaded everything I needed almost within 24 if not hours. There was a lack of follow up and emails or messages took several days to return. I did like the ease of uploading documents and seeing the process as it progresses. Veterans United did not calculate my current mortgage payoff correctly, forcing me to pay off the difference ( almost $700) and having to pay a wire transfer fee. No one ever touched based with me once I signed the closing documents. Overall I do not know if I could recommend the company.

For those who are seeking to refinance there home, our to purchase one, this is an outstanding company to work with on such a project. Cody and Cory Jackson where extremely professional and took away any stress in try to refinance my home. When I had question they were answer immediately, Cory Jackson went the extra mile to make sure any problem in the loan were address that day. This made me feel confidence in his ability to resolve complex issues. Such as last minute loan problems with my applicant. I'm a retired United State Coast Guard Chief, and say job well done.

Our team got us a Preapproval in 3 hours after our initial phone call for loan information, an assigned agent in 4 hours, and a conditional acceptance 3 days later. I still can’t believe that we own a home and the whole process to less than 60 days. We feel like a higher power guided us Veterans United Home Loans when the first lender we started with just didn’t fit the bill and we have no regrets!
