The most frustrating parts of my experience were after I had been pre-approved my loan, my loan officer Ginny Young had doubts if I would or would not actually receive my loan. I disclosed all my debt that she had asked for and then later on asked me about day care fees that I pay, after she found out that I had a child care expenses she was unsure if I could still qualify for the home which I was trying buy and which the seller had already accepted my offer. Ginny could have been a little less stern, I did not appreciate the way she spoke with me over the phone; her tone of voice was just plain rude most of the time I spoke with her. My relator also complained about how she spoke with her. The other bad experience I had was with the HUD, I received four different HUDs within a few hours and my closing fee changed four times, this was mainly because of the title company and the work they were doing with Veterans United, but nevertheless, the situation could have been handled differently.

When it is time to close the loan all the extra's were out of control. I have never had to prove status of electric service. I was even further surprised to learn that the electric company could not verify service, but I had to pay for an outside company to prove electric service. Documents would be requested and then lost. I looked up VUHL on the BBB website after I started having an issue. I see my issues are had by many others. If it was not for the fact that the seller I was buying the home from was not terminally ill I would not have finished the loan with this company. I feel you should change the name from Veterans United. This company does not favors for vets! This is my third home purchase and I had never been treated in such a manor. I would not recommend VUHL to anyone. All of the departments are sub par to say the least. I am glad this whole process is over! I would never use this company again!!
