Simplify the paperwork. There seemed to be a lot of duplicate paperwork.
In order to better serve future military members, veteran, and theri families. Veteran's United needs to allow people to chose from a list of realtors instead of assigning them a realtor. I truly believe that this will make them feel more comfortable. Also, periodically, the realtors that Veteran's United assign to people needs to be screen anually in order to ensure that they do not become complacent in their roles. Even though this is a business there must be some sense of having a higher standard of ethics for realtors that deal with Veteran's. They should not feel as if 'its sure money' for them. But the goal that they need to achieve is to be an advocate first, that would guide their client, and that their achieve at a higher level of satisfaction beyond dollars and cents.
I actually don't know if I would recommend Veterans united Home Loans to friends and family---the information that was gathered was quite ridiculous in comparison to a previous non-VA home loan I had. Some of the questions the underwriter had seem unnecessary. I do not however, want this to reflect upon our loan officer, Scott Thompson, who was incredibly professional, kind and responsive.
