It was very difficult to contact any one specific person during the loan process. On two different occasions I had to call the VU compliance office just to get my loan officer to call me back. I went from April 10th until May 16th without speaking to my loan officer. I emailed him once and he responded to my email by having someone else email me his response. I do understand how busy people can be I am a Soldier and I do work very hard and I usually work an average of 60 plus hours a week but i always find time to call every person back either the same day or early the next day, and i do not even work in an office. Being able to contact him is my only complaint. My loan officer is Ryan Bray.

Provide an explanation of all the paperwork being signed. As a first time home buyer, a lot of the house buying jargon is very unfamiliar. It helps to understand what you are signing and why. My loan officer, Joe Newberry did a great job answering my questions, but it would help to have that information up front.
