At this point, with our Veterans' United experience in the rearview mirror, we would tell potential Veteran homebuyers to definitely look elsewhere for VA home loans. We have never written a review such as this for any company, and we wish we did not have to do so in this case. but, this is how it is. Our move to Montana is probably not our final relocation move. With that in view, the Berrys have no plans to return to Veterans' United for future home purchases.We do not expect to see my comments on your Reviews Page.With respect,COL (Ret) Steven L. I was disappointed I was told to call and lock my interest rate so if the interest went up I would be protected. I did call and I reminded the lenders of that before they wrote the contract. The interest went up and they charged the new rate. I told them and they gave me the dumbest reason why they couldn’t honor what they had promised. That left a bad taste in my mouth and all the good work they did was negated by this false explaination. I was business man, college professor, license baptist minister amoung many other title and my word was as good as a written contract and that is the reason I didn’t back down from signing the contract. Other wise everything else on scale ofOne to ten was good
