You won’t regret working with Veteran’s United for a second. This was the second home I’ve bought and by far the smoothest process.
Very good company to deal with
The whole process was great, though I wish there was a lot less back and forth between the va when verifying my vet status. I provided the same documents over and over, and was really only able to move forward when I was able to get someone from the VA on the phone. If you're able, perhaps more effective lines of communication between the buyer and va?
Veterans United was quick to respond to any questions, and helped us through the process. This was the easiest home buying process we have been through.
Johnna, Jennifer, & everyone at VU has made my home purchase as stress free as possible, once again. I literally can't think of any other way to help the process that they've created. I was always kept abreast of any changes and information as it came out. I'm very, very grateful to have such a kind and caring team on my side.
Thanks everyone!!!!
I would highly recommended Veterans to choose Veterans UNITED as their new home mortgage lender.
I regret have even tried here. I really wish I had walked away along time ago, rather than go through the crap I have had to deal with. I totally regret this entire thing. However, I was told if I walked away I would get penalized. No one, No Veteran in this Country should have to go through the hell I have had to in buying a house. Even the Realtor industry needs to be looked into. This seems to be more about GREED, than helping the Veterans of this Country find and secure housing. A simple roof over one's head is a total of a process that is a total nightmare. I know there will never be any follow-up to this. I also know you will not post this as it is a negative answer, but you deserve it in this case. The one I really thank the most is the Realtor I finally found, that stood by me and helped me, even with Veterans United, to get through all this mess. Holly even tried to contact your CEO and was never answered, goes to show how much he really cares as well. One should be happy to have a new house, I however, am not, I am however stuck for now. The best home buying experience. So good I can't wait until its time to buy again. The people are genuine. The process is streamlined. The results are honest. The website is complete with tools and resources. You will emerge from the experience as a smarter homeowner or in a better position to buy in the future. Trust me, just click apply.
Having the needed documents on hand and ready to go when your team asks for them will make the process go much faster and easier. You need to be very patient when you are getting closer to your closing date because it seems like they are taking forever and it may actually go down to the last minute. Overall they could not be a better group of people to work with.
I can't recommend Veteran's United too highly. They know how to get the job done without driving you crazy for information. They sincerely care about and want to help veterans.
Very thorough and responsive.
