I would encourage all Veterans who are seeking mortgage loan assistance to detail with no other company other than Veterans United. Their staff is knowledgeable, professional and responsive. They work around yout schedule as much as needed. Their website is particularly user friendly especially the method of electronically sending them needed documents. You can literally go through the whole process of obtaining a home loan from your computer while sitting in your living room. I could not be more pleased with Veterans United and especially my loan officer Brad Tweedy and would recommend their service to anyone, not just Veterans.

I attempted to start the home buying process with another lender a year prior, and was treated poorly. I contacted Veterans United right after that, and although I was informed it was not the right time for me to purchase a home at that time, the Loan Officer I spoke to was respectful, which is why I returned once I was ready. This was my first home purchase, and everything was thoroughly explained to me. My Loan Officer was constantly in contact with me, and kept me updated throughout the process. I definitely recommend Veterans United!
I believe that the process itself is quite stressful, Matt was great throughout but a clear path, especially when it comes to the extra expenses would be greatly appreciated! The discounts are all taken in other ways!

Veterans United was easy to work with and helped me purchase a home even while I was deployed. Being deployed came with its challenges but Veterans United was helpful in solving them and getting me to closing. They also have tons of informational videos to answer any questions.

Veterans United will be the anchor - the rock - that maintains your excitement in buying a home. Home buying, to me, was an experience that could have been ripped from the script of Dante's Inferno, somewhere near Limbo. It's a long process they are going to ask you for everything. Have your w2' ready and make sure you cleared your payroll check with your bank at least once because they have to verify that your company is paying you.
