Please decide what documentation is required on the applicants end all at once or as close to that as possible. There were several occasions where I was asked to produce memorandums and documents only a few days a part. If you want signatures from commanding officers determine what you need in advance so the applicant can submit the forms for signature all at once. It is extremely difficult and unprofessional for a soldier to keep presenting documents to his commander for signatures on personal documents unrelated to work. Also I am currently deployed and it is difficult for me to get access to proper computers printers and scanners. This was a very inconvenient and frustrating part of the loan process.
