Give us a better rate...and not charge us that 2.1 percent..
The filing process was relitivily easy, but the personal information process needs improvement, as I had to fill out the same paperwork mulitipal times and even had to call to have information corrected. there needs to be only one form or packet, either mailed or eletronic, filled out correctly the first time, and/or corrected when the loan officer recieves and reviews it. In my opinion there was too much time and paper wasted in filling out the same forms and the editing process.

****Matt McDaniels' review is flawless, all 10's and highest praise.****Matt McDaniels was awesome and receives all 10's for his professionalism and assistance in the process of helping me receive my VA Home Loan from Veterans United. I will recomend him to everyone.If Matt McDaniels had been my Loan Officer from the beginning, then this review would be all 10's and genuine praise. Unfortunately, he was not. The first Loan Officer that I had told me that my apartment rental payment history could not be used as any form of credit line. He directed me to open a secured credit card, make a purchase and a payment and that would establish the additional credit necessary to receive a VA Home Loan. Soon after opening the secured credit card, I learned that a line of credit less than two years old is not considered "established" and therefore would not have any bearing on the Loan process. Due to the ignorance of my first Loan Officer, my VA Home Loan process took an additional year causing me to miss out on lower interest rates and limited the properties I had to choose from. Once Matt McDaniels got involved, the process was quick and painless. My confidence was immediately restored after a couple of coversations with Matt. It was clear to me that he knew what needed to be done, what to expect and what I needed to submit to him for the Loan process to progress and reach approval. Again, if this review was for my experience with Matt McDaniels as my Loan Officer, all 10's and highest praise. Nothing. The process itself is terrible because of the collapse years ago. I mean it is absolutely terrible. Michelle was great though. Im glad she answered the phone when I called.
