Dave Buchner was the only person I talked with for the entire process. As my rating above reflects, he was cordial and professional as we navigated through the VUHL wickets. My satisfactory rating of the agency is an opinion of the managerial requirements expected of me--your customer. I have purchased six personal residences prior to the refinance, and I can say unequivocally that the process with VUHL was more tedious and irritating than any or all others. The firm seems to have "requirements" based on some person(s) whim rather than the regulatory requirements. Only senior leadership should levy or approve the requirements placed on your potential customers--not underwriters and/or mid-level management.
There is a lot of paperwork, and at times, I know we were having to give the same information over and over again. There really ought to be some way to make the process more streamlined! Overall I am satisfied on how the process went and appreciate the helpful and efficient loan officers that worked on my case! Thanks

The multi-phased approval notices create discomfort to a potential borrower. Don't have a specific recommendation. Also, the team of staffers need to explain why certain info is needed. The training needs to focus on customer/borrower and not just VA, Bank, underwriters, etc.
