The closing costs were more than we expected.
The loan team did a great job of making this a smooth process and were all very responsive to our many questions. The only thing that I think could be improved would be that there was a lot left for us to follow up on that could have been shared by the team so that we weren't in the dark as to when and how certain milestones would be hit. This was a relatively minor inconvenience.
Finally, there were a number of fees and costs that we were unaware of that inflated our ultimate loan price that we were not informed of, and would have been extremely useful to know about before settling on a price range to shop for.
Ultimately though the team did a great job.

I researched other companies when needing to refinance but was hoping Veterans United would have an option for me. They did such a good when I bought my house.

Veterans I'm telling you if you want a VA loan or a VA refinance you need to choose Veterans United. The support and customer service that you receive is unheard of in this day and time. My last mortgage company told me they could not do a VA refinance because of Covid. I called Veterans United and was refinanced in a month, without compromising safety concerning Covid19. I highly recommend Veterans United.
