I think with any big process such as home lending, constant status checks (weekly) should be standard. Customers are almost in a vacuum were the only information they discover as well as provided to them.

Veterans United was very helpful and professional during my home seeking journey. They were really "right there with you" every step of the way it felt like. Everything they needed to do they were very prompt about. It seemed like my loan specialist was available every second of the day for any question I had no matter if I called or emailed, he was very quick to respond.
