I was preapproved by another Lender prior to calling Veteran United and I did not receive the attention that I received from Kelly. She was so kind and very professional.
As a first-time homebuyer, I was nervous about the process, but Veterans United and our realtor made everything feel smooth and stress-free, even with everything else going on. I’m really sorry to hear this experience left you feeling frustrated and unhappy. I can understand how disappointing it would be if the amount you expected back from your refinance didn’t match what you ultimately received.
Oftentimes with a refinance, borrowers may receive a separate escrow refund from their previous mortgage servicer in addition to the funds associated with the new loan. Even so, I understand how important it is for expectations and details to be communicated clearly throughout the process, and I’m sorry this experience left you feeling misled.
