Veterans United was great but the title company part of Vaterabs United fell short of expectations
Unfortunately so many loose ends and misinformation situationally to mainly 1 person - Greg Wiele who left for another company just while file in final underwriting. Flood insurance escrows were not required according to him both verbally and email! $3,000 mistake!Bryce really worked hard and earned my trust and respect! He was outstanding and exceeded my expectations!!!
Too much redundancy with the paperwork.
I didn't give a ten because this was my first home and cannot compare my experience with other transactions. Overall I am satisfied with my experience. My wife absolutely loved the floor mat that was sent as a house warming gift.
I felt that the only reason I was able to get a home was due to Veterans United, every other finance company kept giving me the cold shoulder due to my circumstances. VU stood by my side and had patience, and treated me like a person that had some value. VU even put up with my wifes impatience and not many folks can do that.
It was a great experience and Brooks and his team did a great job!

Every step was complicated, right down to having to fill a form out justifying what an inquiry on my credit report was, just to find out it was your company. The closing took months due to all of the redundant and additional paperwork request.
