Alberto was very good about answering our many (probably dumb) questions and he managed to crack the whip at the end so we could get our loan documents in less then a day. The reason for the lower score on question one was that there were some bumps in the road in regard to the inspection process, which almost caused the transaction to fall through. I am not sure who to fault that on, but in my opinion it mostly boils down to lack of communication between VA united and the our realtor and the listing agent. On that note I would also like VA united to review its system of realtors, more specifically Windermere. Unfortunately we felt as if our realtor abandoned us at the end, and didn't put much effort in the final walk through and other small problems that occurred at the end.
During my loan experience with VUHL I encountered one problem, although it was not something I consider a significant problem, it did make a difference in particular situations where tasks were time critical. Residing in the state of California there is a time zone difference between my loan officer and I. During some instances it was a hassle to get a hold of one another, I believe if VUHL opened up a branch in the west coast their institution would greatly benefit as well as their military members, veterans, and families they service. I don't expect my loan officer to be on call 24hr/7days but I believe my experience with VUHL would have greatly increased if I had a loan office near my area.
Your online advertisement I feel is not accurate when the company states no-hassle loan and no money down is not the case when there are 4-5m closing fees inspection costs and also the duplication of information is boarderline rediculous. MTSsorry for the delay I have been down with the flu for a week
