This was a very long process for us, and at times it felt like we had to ask and ask about the status of our loan to get any information, but now that it's all over, I'm extremely pleased. Things came together, we got a good rate, and Steve Stasczuk did a great job addressing our concerns once we shared them with him.
Modify the guidelines so that your borrowers aren't sitting there for 40 days being told everything is fine only to find out AFTER signing closing docs that you don't want to fund the loan. There should be checks and balances put into place where a situation like this is automatically escalated.
